Monthly disability swimming coaching sesssions in Staffordshire will begin on Saturday 18th February at Newcastle Community High School.
The sessions will cater for swimmers with a physical, sensory or learning disability and will provide an opportunity for swimmers to develop their skills and technique.
The sessions are being launched on 18th February with an Open Session, available to any swimmer with any disability and will be adapted to cater for any level of swimming ability to engage with disabled children and young people in the community and encourage more people with a disability to take part in swimming.
With the Paralympic Games edging ever closer, now is a great opportunity to get involved in this exciting new project.
The sessions are closely linked with local swimming clubs and the West Midlands Regional Disability Swimming Squad, which provides further opportunities for disabled people to traiin, compete and excel and forms a vital part of the disability swimming pathway.
